TEAM Technologies will be performing its regular UPS quarterly preventative maintenance from 20:00 (8pm) January 26th 2010 to 04:00 (4am) January 27th 2012. The data center will be transferred to generator power for the duration of the maintenance windows. No disruption to customer power is expected during the maintenance window.

Layered Tech Operations Center is currently tracking a possible issue with the MCI01 ATC Matrix platform. Layered Tech is currently troubleshooting these issues and further information will be posted.

1254 CST – LayeredTech is currently resolving the outage that had occurred on the MCI01 ATC Matrix platform and will send out more details after a root cause analysis has been performed.

1328 CST – The Layered Tech engineers have returned the ATC Matrix Environment to a healthy state. Some independent client systems are still being addressed individually and a Root Cause Analysis will be started to be drafted for all affected clients.

EVENT DETAILS:
Clients in our Cedar Falls datacenter may have experienced intermittent connectivity issues and severely increased latency.  The network team traced the issues to a large DDoS attack, and were able to mitigate the attack traffic and restore normal service.  A formal RCA will be made available in the next 48 hours.

Notification of changes to the Layered Tech TOS

The Layered Tech Terms of Service (TOS) posted at http://www.layeredtech.com/about/legal/terms-of-service/ has been updated. Modifications include but are not limited to the following:

  • Termination notification changed from 2 days to 10 business days prior to the renewal date of service.
  • Notification of Client License Terms for Microsoft Software added to document.
